My guest for episode 12 is Dr. Gordon Wilson, professor of biology at New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho.

In his new book, A Different Shade of Green, he argues that Christians have gotten environmentalism wrong. We’ve tended to fall into a couple extremes–one of supreme indifference as an overreaction to the earth-worshipping activist crazies out there, or an embrace of the latest green trends that end up overshadowing gospel faithfulness and personal transformation.

So what should Christians think about the world God created?

What should be our standard of value when caring for ecosystems?

How do we balance the need for development and innovation with a need to protect species and their habitats?

Is climate change an actual threat, or is the world heating up from so much activist hot air?

Listen to the episode and read the book for all those answers and more.

Dr. Wilson is also the narrator of the feature length nature documentary, “The Riot and the Dance” (streaming on Amazon Prime right now–see below for details).
